# E7-perihelion

Rows: 1. Files: E7-perihelion.csv, E7-perihelion.json (same rows).
Unit: arcseconds per century.

Columns:
- value: measured value
- sigma: 1-sigma uncertainty, same unit
- source: publication (authors, journal, volume, page)
- year: year of publication
- provenance: where the lab first read the number (internal notes name the lab record; the primary source is the source column)
- pooled: yes: used in the combined value; no: shown as a cross-check only

Notes from the record:
- E7 Mercury's perihelion advance not due to the other planets, arcseconds per century.
- not pooled: Park, Folkner, Konopliv, Williams, Smith and Zuber 2017 (Astron J 153, 121) report the total precession 575.3100 +/- 0.0015 arcsec per century and, with Cassini gamma, beta - 1 = (-2.7 +/- 3.9) x 10^-5; the exact static line gives beta - 1 = 0, residual -0.69 sigma (PRIOR-ART row 12). The 42.98 +/- 0.04 above is the record figure for the part not due to the planets.

Source of the data: the publications in the source column.
